Q – Is air fare included in the trip cost?
A – We don’t include the air fare to our destinations since many of our travelers are
enrolled in frequent flyer programs or prefer to purchase tickets directly online – a more
economical way for you to go!
Q – Are the trips all-inclusive?
A – Our trips are not all-inclusive, giving you more freedom to explore the local culture
and cuisine as you like. Each trip does include a variety of meals, activities and adventure
specific to the region, and our daily Happy Hour to share stories and laughs every evening.
Q – Are the trips all couples or can singles sign up?
A – Women traveling solo are always welcome, and couples enjoy meeting new people and making
new friends.
Q – Do single travelers always have to pay a supplement?
A – We encourage singles to join our trips, and you’ll never pay a supplement if you are
willing to share a room (separate beds) with another solo traveler. You may request a
private room and opt to pay a supplement if you prefer not to share a room.
Q – I’m a solo traveler and won’t know anyone on the trip, will I feel like an outsider?
A – You’re not alone! Many participants on our trips are solo travelers and don’t know any
others in the group. We’re women traveling together – we share common interests and our
trips give you the opportunity to easily make new friends.
Q – What if I want to spend time alone, away from the group?
A – Our schedules are flexible for just that reason. We post a daily schedule so you’ll
know when and where the activities are taking place each day. Join pre-planned activities,
go shopping or chill as you choose!
Q – I’ve never been out of the country, what should I pack?
A – We always issue ‘Abroad’s Travel Bag,’ our checklist of suggested items to pack so
you’re not caught unprepared for each trip.
Q – How will I know how to get to the trip starting point?
A – We send out easy-to-follow instructions for guidance on suggested transport and details
for getting you to the destination starting point.
Q – What is the average age of the women who travel with you?
A – Our travelers range in age from mature 30-somethings to youthful 60-somethings! Our
travelers are generally adventurous women of all ages.
Q – Is there an age limit to go on the trips?
A – Yes, the age minimum is 21 years old.
